Staying at the Campsite
Reykjavík Campsite is open from May 15th – September 15th. During the periods May 15th – June 1st and September 1st-15th the reception is only open partly (more info at the Campsite) but during June 1st – September 1st there is a 24hr watch. On your arrival, please contact the reception for registration and payment. If guests arrive when the reception is closed they are welcomed to camp and contact the reception when it opens.
At the reception you will find various things a camper needs on his travels. There is sold gas, batteries, postcards, stamps ect. ect. And the staff will be happy to provide general information about Reykjavík and traveling around Iceland, and you can book any daytrips we have to offer. While organizing your trip you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee sold at the reception.
